Project area: The reservoir Ćelije near the city of Kruševac (central Serbia);
Project scope: The reservoir is a water source of the regional water supply system „Rasina“ serving 250,000 people in the city of Kruševac and the municipalities of Aleksandrovac, Ćićevac, Varvarin, Trstenik, Paraćin and Ćuprija. As part of improvement of the regional water supply system, funded by EU, the Enviromental Action Plan for the Ćelije lake had been prepared. The Action Plan provided the set of institutional and operational measures aimed to prevent further degradation of the reservoir water quality.
