    Project scope: Build the capacity in the energy sector which will lead to the increased use of geothermal energy and increased participation of high efficient CHP facilities in electricity generation and heat production. The project was performed by EPTISA (Spain) in association with Mannvit (Iceland) and Energy Saving Group (Serbia). After initial screening, three sites were selected for development of geothermal energy facilities and three sites were selected for development of CHP facilities. Six pre-feasibility studies were produced.

    2011: Environmental and Social Due Diligence of “Selova” and “Rovni” small hydro-power plants

    Project scope: Electric Power Industry of Serbia (EPS) has approached EBRD for financing of construction of two small hydro-power plants at “Selova” and “Rovni” dams. The Bank engaged WS Atkins (UK) as a lead Consultant to undertake environmental and social due diligence of the project in accordance with EBRD performance requirements;

    Keywords: monitoring wells network, groundwater sampling and analysis
    Project scope: InSitu was commissioned by Holcim to establish the groundwater monitoring at the cement plant site in Novi Popovac and at the adjacent abandoned industrial landfill. The scope of work included installation of 14 monitoring wells at the plant site, sampling and analysis of 30 wells, evaluation of the results, preparation of conceptual hydrogeological model, etc.
